So, we ( Call ean , Jordan and myself) went with the radio mysterio-drama route. We actually did a big chunk of this as a one take recording with us sitting near the microphone. I’m more comfortable with my of adobe audition v 1.5 from 2004 (geez is it really that old now?)…so I used that instead of audacity. I added some “bottomOfTheBarrel” reverb to Colleen’s voice to try to make her sound like she was on the other end of the phone. I pitch-shifted Jordan’s voice down a few decibels to make her a better warpanther.

The intro and outro music is Skip Martin’s “Riff Blues”
We used these sounds from Freesound.org:

Bristolstories’s  u_chimes3  http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=51710
LG’s  Office2 http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=14857
Robinhood76 BrassFanfare4 http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=62176
NoiseCollector’s outgoingring http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=3978
Sofie’s violin bit 14 http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=1263
Werra’s Telephone http://www.freesound.org/samplesViewSingle.php?id=78565

I finished at 1:55pm, exported and uploaded the file to groom at 1:59pm with excruciating speed, anxiety and agility for a person who rarely believes in deadlines (and tends to be late, but it’s usually worth it). I worked my fingers off and I’m sweating at the brow with such intellectual exertion. I need a drink.
